  • Extreme Weather Preparation

With an abundance of caution, we are asking that you take the following steps:

    • At the mechanical room closet in your lower level please unplug your ERV, open one of the ceiling hatches and leave one of the doors to the closet open. There are lots of pipes in this area that we want to keep safe!
    • Have all thermostats on the electric heat set no lower than 62 degrees.
    • Make sure all electric heaters including the ones in your garage closets are turned on.
    • When using the garage overhead door please double check that it has fully closed.
    • Remember you have supplemental electric baseboard heat that is operated by the thermostats in the closets. This system will operate if needed when the outdoor temperature goes below 5 degrees. You can adjust those thermostats temperature setting when the system is on.

This abundance of caution is to give us a chance to monitor how your building performs during this first extreme cold. We will follow up with outcomes and any next steps. If there is an issue or concern be in touch and know that you can call our 24 hour on call service at 802-951-4109 in the event of an emergency.

  • Construction Updates

We have seen two new structures go up since the beginning of December: the townhome building opposite the community green and the third duplex along Seminary Street / Brush Lane. The fourth duplex will go up in mid-January and the third townhome building will go up mid- to late-February. As I’m sure you’ve also noticed, work continues to progress on Stonecrop Apartments. We are anticipating that this building will be completed in May and begin welcoming renters in June. We expect to be welcoming new residents to the community in late January with completion of the duplex opposite the mailboxes and then working up Brush Lane over the following few months. So please be on the lookout in the new year for new neighbors!
